Voice over typing
Most journaling apps assume you'll sit down and write. Plai. assumes you'll be walking, driving, or lying in bed. Voice is the default; text is optional.
About
In the Carpathians, plai refers to broad mountain ridges and the paths that run along them. We chose the name because most journaling happens on the move — on a walk, between meetings, before sleep. Plai. is built for those moments: open the app, speak, and keep going.
Make voice journaling a daily habit, and turn what you say into something you can come back to.

Plai. doesn't generate reflections for you. It records what you actually said, transcribes it, and helps you find patterns in your own language — not in a feed of prompts written by someone else.
Your journal is personal. We treat privacy as a foundational product requirement, not an add-on, because honest reflection only works when people feel safe saying what they truly think and feel.
Reflection only matters if it changes something. Plai. surfaces patterns from your entries so you can spot what's worth doing differently this week — not produce more text you'll never reread.
